Lowland House is a visual identity direction for a residential project shaped by landscape, material, and stillness.
The work sits quietly alongside the architecture, supporting how the project is experienced without drawing attention away from it. It is designed to hold a consistent tone across different touchpoints, grounded in restraint and clarity.
The project is set in a rural landscape where the architecture is closely connected to its surroundings. The identity needed to reflect that same sensitivity. It could not feel decorative or separate from the space itself. Instead, it had to feel like a natural extension of it.The aim was to create something steady and unobtrusive that would support the way the project is understood and communicated.
The system is intentionally quiet.Typography leads the identity, supported by a consistent use of space and simple compositional rules. Imagery is treated in a documentary way, focusing on material, light, and form rather than stylised presentation.
Colour is kept minimal and used only to support the overall tone.
