A concept brand identity for KUMU Art Museum. The direction is rooted in the museum’s architecture, using its distinctive semi-circular form, along with its various line and grid structures as the starting point for both the logo and the wider visual system. Viewed from above, this shape becomes a simple, recognisable motif that reflects the structure itself. The wordmark carries this idea through deliberate curves that echo the building’s form. From there, the semi-circular motif is broken apart and reworked into a flexible graphic language. These elements can be scaled, layered, and recombined across print and digital applications, creating a system that feels dynamic while remaining cohesive.
